MISSION HOSPITAL MEMORIAL CAMPUS LANE CLOSURE UTILITY WORK TO BEGIN ON JUNE 13

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (June 9, 2016) — Beginning Monday, June 13, 2016 at 7:00am, the loop road around Mission Hospital (Lilly Carmichael Drive) will be narrowed to one lane just west of the Mission Hospital Helipad due to a construction project to install underground electrical conduits. The lane closure will be 24/7 and will continue for approximately one week.

One lane will be blocked with a construction fence, and the second lane will be open (one direction of traffic at a time) for traffic to flow in both directions. It is possible that traffic from Biltmore Avenue may back up impeding access to the Mission Hospital Emergency Department.

Mission Health Security will provide traffic control personnel to maintain two directional traffic. Traffic control personnel will be stationed at the initial road closure barricade on Lily Carmichael Drive, at the ambulatory entrance, and at the Memorial Campus entrance from Biltmore Ave.
